What sweets can you eat on low Fodmap?
- Meringue cookies with pecans or crushed candy canes.

Don't eat too much candy at once, even if made with low-FODMAP ingredients. Although low-FODMAP sweeteners are relatively well tolerated, if you overdo it you are risking a bout of IBS symptoms.
Similarly, can you eat chocolate on a low Fodmap diet?
The answer is both yes and no. Chocolate and cocoa powder do contain oligosaccharides, one of the FODMAP groups. And I do have 'good news': at small doses, chocolate and cocoa powder can be tolerated by people with IBS and are allowed even in the strict phase of the low FODMAP diet.
