Before 2012, candidates were allowed to retake the NBDHE as many times as they wanted (like nursing students). Now the ADA only allows you to take the test 5 times or within 5 years of your graduation date.
Subsequently, one may also ask, how many questions can you miss on Nbdhe?
You have to get at least 203 - 214 correct to give you a standard score of 75! That means you can get 136-152 questions incorrect on the entire national board to have at least a 75 score on the National Boards!
Keeping this in view, is the dental hygiene Board exam hard?
One of the many board exams a dental hygiene student must take is the national dental hygiene board exam (NBDHE). The NBDHE definitely can be very intimidating. It's one of the many steps and requirements for licensure and becoming a dental hygienist. The exam is broken down into two parts with many subsections.
They ask 400 questions and to pass you should score 75 %, i.e 300 correct responses as there is no negative marking.
