Should you let Coco dry out?
In respect to this, how do you dry out Coco?
Just take it out and squeeze the water out of it. It soon drys out. get another bucket and squeeze as much water out as you can and put the squeezed stuff into the new bucket. if it's still too wet, spread a bit out on a baking tray and put it in the oven on a very low heat.
Correspondingly, can you over water Coco?
If you don't have proper drainage in coco and you're watering too often, you can have over watering. Let them dry out and reduce your watering/feeding schedule. Or, Add more perlite or hydroton rocks to your coco to air it out more and allow more drainage.
The frequency of watering depends on the evaporation and the water supply in the COCO. A common rule is; one daily watering is sufficient during the first few weeks under normal circumstances; then increase up to 2 times a day; 2 hours after the lamps have been turned on and 2 hours before they are switched off again.
