Are knee high socks business casual?
Furthermore, are knee high socks appropriate for work?
Most women should NOT wear over-the-knee socks to work. The only exception (perhaps) would be in the entertainment industry or an artsy environment. However, even in these circumstances, I would cap the age at 25. Any older and it just gets tacky looking.
Similarly, are boots appropriate for business casual?
Business casual attire usually requires flat or heeled closed-toe, professional-looking shoes such as loafers, oxfords, pumps, heeled boots. Open-toe shoes may be acceptable in some business casual workplaces.
Re: Wearing Knee Length Boots for Job Interview Black or brown dress boots are fine for interviewing of non-management positions during fall and winter months. I stress DRESS BOOTS only! BUT have your skirt below your knees walking and to the tops of your boots when sitting.
