Why did Michael start Michael Scott's company?
Then, does Michael Scott go back to Dunder Mifflin?
(CBS/AP) Steve Carell and Michael Scott have finally left Dunder Mifflin. After months of news stories about his imminent departure (Carell's, that is), it's finally happened. The Scranton regional manager left "The Office," as long promised, in a fond farewell for the actor who played him, series star Carell.
Then, what is Michael Scott's salary?
Regional Sales Manager Salaries: A self-described “friend first, boss second, and probably an entertainer third,” Michael Scott would make around $78,994 in the real world. Actor Steve Carrell (who plays Scott) reportedly makes $175,000 per episode.
Michael's exit was due to Carell's departure from the series, which eventually happened in the season 7 finale, "Goodbye Michael". Luckily, that wasn't the last of Michael's arc in The Office. Just because he left Dunder Mifflin, it didn't mean he escaped the paper industry.
