Every one, more or less, loves Power, yet those who most wish for it are seldom the fittest to be trusted with it. When most of us hear the phrase, 'survival of the fittest,' we assume it originated with Charles Darwin.

Charles Darwin not only did not coin the phrase “survival of the fittest” (the phrase was invented by Herbert Spencer), but he argued against it. In “On the Origin of Species,” he wrote: “it hardly seems probable that the number of men gifted with such virtues [as bravery and sympathy]
“Survival of the fittest” is the result of natural selection and is applicable to all including humans. The term is used more for genetic adaptability of the species in relation to its environment. The future of man is dependent more on his over mind and over cultural ways through their technologies.
