What kind of character is Ichabod Crane?
Keeping this in consideration, what is the best way to describe Ichabod Crane?
Ichabod Crane is a tall skinny school teacher. He is conscientious and while he loves the children he teaches, he can be very stern when it comes to their studies. He loves storytelling and often times allows his imagination to run wildly away from him. He is a daydreamer to the point of severe distraction.
Also to know is, what character is terrified Ichabod Crane?
In other words, he can't wait until he's rich and can stick it to everyone who's ever been mean to him. Without that power, though, Ichabod just smiles and nods. Our not-so-Don Juan is also afraid of his main rival, Brom Van Brunt.
Ichabod is tall, lanky, and somewhat awkward-looking. He loves singing and dancing—he also gives singing lessons—and believes he is excellent at both (there's a touch of irony in the narration that suggests he may not be as talented as he thinks).
