What is the conflict between Titania and Oberon?
Consequently, what happened between Oberon and Titania?
King Oberon and Queen Titania enter the play in Act II, Scene 1. He says that they are fighting because Queen Titania has secretly stolen a baby boy from an Indian king. The fight is happening because he wants the child for himself.
Also question is, why are Oberon and Titania mad at each other?
Titania and Oberon accuse each other of being unfaithful. Titania and Oberon are the king and queen of the fairies. They are in the middle of a big fight that is mostly about Titania's possession of a changeling infant. They both want the changeling, so they accuse each other of infidelity.
On the surface, it seems that Oberon is angry with Titania because she has taken into her care a particularly beautiful Indian boy changeling that Oberon is jealous of because he had his own intentions for the boy.
