Ladies, don't bring several large bags into your interview. It's best to bring only the essentials in a professional looking tote bag or purse. The only beverage you should bring is a bottle of water, but make sure to keep it in your bag. You should never bring your coffee, smoothie, or your lunch to your interview.
Also question is, what should you not bring to an interview?
Now that you have a list of what to bring, let's take a look at the things not to bring to a job interview:
- Bad Attitude.
- Drinks.
- Candy/Gum.

In respect to this, is it rude to drink water during an interview?
For a super day level interview, if you would like to have water - bring it and sit it outside of your interview room. If you are worried about this looking odd then you can simply forgo bringing water. Don't bring it into the room with you unless it is in your bag and don't drink it during the interview itself.
Everyone loves coffee, but the last thing you want is for your interview to appear too casual. Finish your coffee beforehand and you will avoid any impression that you do not take the job interview seriously. Don't bring a beverage to the job interview.
