Microsoft Publisher is used to create documents for publication. Smartart is versatile art created in certain Office applications like Word or Powerpoint. You cannot create these items within Publisher, but you can use them to make documents more presentable.
Keeping this in consideration, how do I add SmartArt to publisher?
On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click SmartArt. In the menu of types that appears, point at the type you want and then select a layout. Enter your text by doing one of the following: Click [Text] in the Text pane, and then type your text.
Regarding this, how do I make an organizational chart in Publisher?
Build the organization chart
- On the Insert menu, click Shapes, and then click the shape you want to insert.
- Click in the publication where you wan to insert the shape.
- Change the size, color, fill, or line of the shape.
- When the shape looks the way you want for your chart, right-click the shape, and then click Copy.
Click the "Insert" tab at the top of the screen. Click the "Shapes" button. Choose the rectangle shape in the "Basic Shapes" section. When the cursor changes to a plus sign, draw an outline forming the area for the graph, which will serve as the border.
