Electrical tape may not have a clear melting point but a glass transition temperature or smoke point instead. A tape that will survive longer at a lower temperature than a higher one.
Correspondingly, is electrical tape flammable?
Although most reputable brands of electrical tape will have decent thermal properties (generally to cope with temperatures up to around 80 degrees Celsius), many varieties of insulation tape are indeed flammable if they're allowed to get hot enough.

Keeping this in view, at what temp does electrical tape melt?
Electrical Tape, launched in 1985. It stretches easily at temperatures down to 0°F (-18°C) and is rated for continuous operation up to 221°F (105°C).
Electrical tape is not as durable as, for example, heat shrink tubing. Over time it will lose its adhesive properties and eventually fall off the cable or wire.
