Do Command Strips work on rough surfaces?
Herein, do Command strips really work?
Command strips work on most surfaces, but not all. The surfaces you can use them on are painted, stained or varnished wood, glass, tile, painted cinder block, plaster, drywall, metal, and painted wallboard. They will also stick to smooth cinder block, like what you see inside school buildings.
Keeping this in view, do Command Strips work in humidity?
Unfortunately, adhesive products like Command strips just don't work as well in hot, humid locations (around 80% humidity or more). If you live in a very humid area and want to hang Command strips in your house, you might be able to make it work if you have a dehumidifier.
A Piece of Floss and a Hairdryer will do the Trick First, warm up the adhesive with a hairdryer. 30 seconds or so seems to be about right. Next, use dental floss or fishing line to gently cut through the adhesive strip. Rub off any remaining adhesive residue, and the Command Hook is ready to reuse!
